Titans vs. Browns Predictions, Picks & Odds For NFL Week 3: Sun, 9/24

Titans vs. Browns Predictions with BetMGM

Week 2 of the NFL season was another success, as many of the games came down to the wire and ended in dramatic fashion. On Sunday, we’re in for a treat in the AFC as the Tennessee Titans will travel to Cleveland to battle the Browns. Both of these teams currently sit at 1-1 and will look to go above .500 here on Sunday. The Titans are coming off a huge overtime win over the Chargers in a game that they won by the skin of their teeth at home. Meanwhile, the Browns took their first loss on Monday night in Pittsburgh. Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry both had breakout games this past week after starting a bit slow in Week 1.

Meanwhile, the Browns just lost star running back Nick Chubb to a gruesome injury, which leaves Jerome Ford as the lead back for Cleveland. Ford proved that he’s certainly serviceable in the loss to Pittsburgh, but this is still a devastating loss for the Browns. This will play a role in our Titans vs. Browns prediction, so continue reading for our Titans vs. Browns picks, which you can use to unlock a $1,500 new-user bonus with BetMGM Sportsbook.

Titans vs. Browns Predictions for NFL Week 3 on Sunday, 9/24

Sunday’s matchup between the Titans and Browns should certainly be a good one, as these teams are pretty evenly matched. After only scoring 15 points in Week 1, the Titans were able to explode for 27 against a good Chargers team in the win. Ryan Tannehill played well, going 20-of-24 for 246 yards passing and a touchdown. Tannehill also scored a 12-yard rushing touchdown where he showed that his running game is still a threat. Derrick Henry also went off for 80 yards rushing and a touchdown against the Chargers, proving that he’s still a force to be reckoned with. Also for Tennessee, Treylon Burks racked up 76 yards on just three receptions. This is a good sign for the Titans, as Deandre Hopkins is yet to have a big game, and he’ll look for a breakout effort in Week 3.

As far as the Browns go, they’re in a strange spot at the moment. Deshaun Watson played decent in the loss to Pittsburgh Monday, but he had a couple of crucial turnovers, including a pick six to start the ball game. He later fumbled and gave up a scoop and score to TJ Watt on a crucial drive late in the game. This isn’t a great sign for Cleveland, especially with the devastating injury to Nick Chubb. It wasn’t all bad for the Browns, though, as Jerome Ford stepped in for Chubb and racked up 106 yards rushing and caught a passing touchdown. Amari Cooper was also a bright spot for Cleveland with his 90 receiving yards on seven catches.

Defensively, neither of these teams looked great this past week. It should be noted that both defenses kept their opponents at bay in Week 1, and they’ll both look to replicate this in Week 3.

We predict that the Titans can keep this game close and potentially win outright. This is mainly due to the loss of Chubb, and the turnovers that haunted the Browns against the Steelers. If Tannehill continues to distribute the ball the way he has been, and Derrick Henry can impose his will against this tough Browns defensive line, we could see the Titans coming out on top here.

Titans vs. Browns NFL Picks Highlighting Titans +3 (-110 at BetMGM)

As stated previously, we believe the Titans can do enough to stay neck and neck with the Browns and we’re willing to take the points with Tennessee here. We believe this could be a potential breakout week for Deandre Hopkins, and Titans +3 (-110) feels generous here. We’d also recommend potentially buying the half point to Titans +3.5 (-130) in case the Titans lose by a field goal. We’re confident that the Titans can keep it close enough to cover the +3 and possibly win though.
